About the practice

A consortium of attorneys.

One point of contact.

Death and Taxes Law brings together specialized attorneys across estate planning, tax law, nonprofit governance, and corporate formation — so you always have the right expert in your corner.

The practice

Expert guidance, personal service

When I began my tax law practice, the questions my friends and family would present to me were largely related to estate planning and tax strategy. How could high earners with growing net worth protect their assets through simple mechanisms? What structures were most efficient in small business? Is there a simple plan for estate transition? Out of this, Death and Taxes Law was formed. We handle the two constants in life — with a focus on making both of them easier.

Death and Taxes Law is built around a simple idea: expert legal counsel should feel personal, not transactional. Our attorneys bring deep specialization to every matter, and every client works directly with the attorney handling their case.

By bringing together attorneys with complementary expertise, we can handle the full range of matters that touch your estate, your taxes, your organization, and your business — without sending you elsewhere. When your matters overlap, our attorneys work together so nothing falls through the cracks.

We also believe that access to skilled legal counsel should not depend on the size of your budget. Our fees are transparent and structured to be approachable — because the right time to get legal advice is before a problem becomes a crisis.

What guides this practice

Four principles. No exceptions.

01

Directness

You will always receive a straight answer. Our team focuses on realistic expectations.

02

Precision

Legal documents are only as good as their details. Every word is chosen with care.

03

Accessibility

Because this is a small practice, the attorney who takes your initial consultation is the same attorney who drafts your documents, represents you before the IRS, or advises your board.

04

Continuity

The attorney who takes your initial consultation is the attorney who handles your matter. You always know who to call.
